We are a group of young adults between 18 and 39 who are currently going through cancer treatment or have already completed it.

TREFFPUNKT English is part of the German Foundation for Young Adults with Cancer. “TREFFPUNKT” means “meetup” or “meeting point” in German — and that is exactly what this is.
We meet online in a relaxed and open digital space where it’s easy to connect with others who understand what life with cancer at a young age can feel like. We talk about what matters right now, share experiences, exchange tips, and support each other along the way. Cancer connects us but it doesn’t define everything we are.
This space is especially for young adults who live in Germany but don’t speak German fluently. Everyday life with cancer can come with extra challenges in that situation — for example understanding medical information, communicating with doctors and hospitals, navigating health insurance, or simply finding your way through a system that often runs in German.

TREFFPUNKT English is not a traditional self-help group, but a community that supports each other and grows together.
Beyond our meetings, we also get involved in raising awareness about young adults and cancer. We join campaigns, take part in patient events, and contribute to projects of the Foundation. A medical professional is available to support us with questions when needed, and the Foundation helps us with everything we do.
